How do I install Common Management and Monitoring REST API support for Java CAPS, Open-ESB, Glassfish-ESB, and Fuji On Glassfish v3 instances

To install Common Management and Monitoring REST API support for Java CAPS, Open-ESB, Glassfish-ESB, and Fuji On Glassfish v3 instances, you need the following:

1. Deploy the ESB Rest Web Application archive on the server. The ESB Rest Web Application can be built after checking out the source code from esb-console\ESBRest

Download

It is always better to Checkout and Build from scratch. However, if you want to try out the Management and Monitoring capabilities without having to build it from scratch, I will infrequently upload a jar file at my convenience that you can download from here ESBRest.war that you can deploy to your standalone Fuji instance and test according to instructions mentioned below:

Deployment

Step 1: - Download the web archive and deploy it on the server using either asadmin, or the Glassfish Admin Console, or asant.

Extract the jar into a directory of your choice:

E:\runtimes\osgi\glassfish\m8\glassfishv3\glassfish\bin>asadmin deploy --contextroot ESBRest --force=true --upload=true --enabled=true E:\tmp\ESBRest.war

Command deploy executed successfully.

E:\runtimes\osgi\glassfish\m8\glassfishv3\glassfish\bin>
