JavaCAPS, Open-ESB, and Glassfish-ESB users are fine.
Since Fuji has not been released yet, to manage any Fuji instances, you need to explicitly install backend functionality that enables Common Management and Monitoring support for managing Fuji stand-alone and Fuji on Glassfish v3.
As far as Performance Measurement is concerned, we have a whole bunch of statistics that we report right from
- JBI Container/Framework statistics,
- NMR statistics,
- Container (Service Engine/Binding Component) Statistics,
- Service Assembly statistics, to
- Endpoint statistics.
These are done in a standard way across all components that are released as part of the product, and are exposed using the Common Management and Monitoring API, the link to which, Venkat sent out and the JavaDocs and Samples of which are already packaged as part of the CD distributed with Java CAPS.
In addition, our various tools like the NetBeans JBI Manager, Glassfish CLI (asadmin), Glassfish Admin Console, Glassfish Ant use the API to display these statistics.
The samples that are packaged with the product already contain code about how to exercise the performance measurement service that's part of this Common Management and Monitoring API.
Specifically performance measurement apis are documented here:
https://esb-console.dev.java.net/public/javadocs/managementapi/core/com/sun/esb/management/api/performance/PerformanceMeasurementService.html
Please refer to
Statistics Presentation for more information on the Performance Measurement Service.
