RSS Binding Component

The RSS (Really Simple Syndication) protocol is a simple means of distributing data between parties that gives the consumer the illusion that they were pushed the information. The RSS BC provides the capability for components to publish and subscribe to syndication feeds. Components can publish their own feeds locally to the RSS BC or they can subscribe to local feeds. Also components can subscribe to external feeds and receive notification of changes.
